Vijay is an award-winning cognitive scientist and an international best selling author. He has a research background in audiologic perception, neural modeling, brain neurology, cognitive processing and skill acquisition. His academic background is in the computational and quantitative fields of cognitive science. His core work emerged when he discovered that a personal process he'd been using for years was unknown in the fields of psychology and psychotherapy.
He subsequently laid the scientific groundwork for the process in his doctoral dissertation and scientific publication work. His research on RAMIC includes work on feature prominence, comparative analysis with Sand Tray therapy, testing on information representation, studies on visual memory, measurement of speech disfluencies, work on interrupt recovery and exploring the effects on neurocognitive conditions such as ADHD.
In the area of training, he currently teaches the process to individuals and groups from a wide variety of professions. He has trained musicians, artists and athletes to engineers, doctors and business executives.
He holds 5 degrees, 4 of which are from UC, Berkeley. He is currently a visiting research scientist at the University of California.
When he's not engaged in training or research, Vijay enjoys snowboarding, movies and Latin dance. He lives in California.
